Postupak proizvodnje KRALJA je donekle sličan proizvodnji francuskog konjaka, ali bazna sirovina nije groždje, već šljiva i to ona autohtona – trnovača. KRALJ je proizveden od vina šljiva tipa PRUVIN , koje je dobijeno kupažiranjem vina od tri sorte šljiva i to vina trnovače, vina crvene ranke i vina požegače. Sva količina šljive je ručno obradjena.
